I love zip lining. I’ve done it a few times in different locations, and it’s always a thrill. A few weeks ago it was my niece Natalie’s 12th birthday. So for her birthday, she wanted to give Zip Lining in Ocala a try. I have heard great things about Canyons Zip Line and Canopy Tours, and so partnering with them for this post was perfect.
Florida isn’t known for its elevation. We aren’t even quite 350 feet above sea level, but some things we do have are towering cliffs, sparkling lakes, huge old oak trees, and massive canyons. Imagine spending 3 hours in a part of Florida that offers breathtaking views with heart pounding adventure.
Zip Lining in Ocala
You won’t find a zip line like this anywhere else in Florida. Imagine yourself zipping past enormous cliffs, over lakes, and through the lush forest. There are professionally certified guides that lead you through a 2 1/2 to 3-hour tour through a such a pristine, remote area of Ocala that few have seen.

First, guides outfit you in safety gear and go over proper zipping safety techniques. Then you’re off soaring from one tree-stand to another. Keep a look out for wildlife, nature and the history of the area that the guides with share with you. All while zipping between the canyons flying over vast lakes. Plan on conquering any fear of heights while walking over rope bridges and rappelling.
