I woke up this morning to an email so full of excitement that I just had to share it with you. I wrote a post a few weeks ago that I will be in LA for an event with Disney, Marvel and ABC. Now you can take a look at the itinerary of all the fun to be had!
WOW! Incredible Itinerary!
March 9th –
I will be arriving along with 24 other bloggers in Los Angeles this Sunday, March 9th. Then, this is what the rest of my week is looking like!
The first day we have some downtime when we arrive, and staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel means that I will just be 2 blocks away from Hollywood Blvd, so I am sure there will be some shopping involved.
And then as the sun begins to set, our “work” begins! We will be heading to the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, where we will have some time to enjoy Legends Plaza. I have been to Legends Plaza several times now, and it is always very magical, especially at night.
We will then head to the screening of MUPPETS MOST WANTED and Pixar’s new animated short, PARTY CENTRAL with those Monster’s Inc boys we love!
March 10th –
We will arrive at Disney Toon Studios where we will have breakfast and then screen THE PIRATE FAIRY.
From the world of Peter Pan comes The Pirate Fairy, a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities.
After, we will have some time with Peggy Holmes (Director & Writer) and Jenni Magee-Cook (Producer) of The Pirate Fairy. It is always fun to learn about how the concept began, what it entailed and the feeling of accomplishment once they release the film.
We will then head to The Beverly Hilton Hotel for THE MUPPETS MOST WANTED Press Junket. We will start the afternoon with lunch at the junket and take photos with Kermit and Miss Piggy. After lunch we will be having group interviews with Director James Bobin, Songwriter Bret McKenzie, Kermit, Miss Piggy & Constantine.
After the interviews we will have the option of getting manicures at the OPI nail stations using THE MUPPETS MOST WANTED special line I shared with you a few days ago.
Later that night, we will attend a screening of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. I promise to save any spoilers for my blog review after seeing the film!
March 11th –
After awaking from sweet dreams of Captain America, we will be up early and heading back to Walt Disney Studios for the screening of DisneyNature’s BEARS. We will then head to the LA Zoo where will have a private tour and see bears, condors, chimpanzees, okapi, rhinos, giant otters and much more!
After a full day like this, what could be in store for that night? Oh, just the red carpet premiere of MUPPETS MOST WANTED at the El Capitan Theatre. I will be joining some names you may recognize; Ricky Gervais, Kermit the Frog, Constantine, Ty Burrell, Miss Piggy, Tina Fey, Sweetums, Animal, Dr. Teeth, Floyd, Janice and Zoot, plus cameos Rob Corrdry, Josh Groban, Ray Liotta, Danny Trejo and Dylan Postl, Director James Bobin, producer David Hoberman, producer Todd Lieberman, writer/executive producer Nicholas Stoller, executive producer John G. Scotti.
Yes! AN-I-MAL!
When I hear that I am going to a premiere party, I always giggle. I mean, we are already walking the RED carpet for a movie premiere with the STARS of the film, so going to the Premiere Party for MUPPETS MOST WANTED across the street at The Annex will be a treat and one of the experiences I am sure you will want to read about.
March 12 –
We will be having a group Breakfast in the Hotel restaurant sponsored by the Hilton Garden Inn to begin our day and then depart to The Beverly Hilton Hotel for the CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER Press Junket
We will be taking photos using the Captain America Experience App – which, you should check out!
Then the group interview will begin. This is an amazing lineup. We will talk to, Directors Anthony & Joe Russo, Chris Evans (“Steve Rogers / Captain America”), Sebastian Stan (“Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier”), Anthony Mackie (“Sam Wilson / The Falcon”), Scarlett Johansson (“Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow”), and Producer Kevin Feige.
Yeah, I can safely say, that will be amazing! Then we will depart the Press Junket for lunch at The Prospect Studios
where we will go to GENERAL HOSPITAL for a set visit and casual interview opportunities with (subject to change), Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri), Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer), Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos), Maura West (Ava Jerome”), and Jeffrey Vincent Parise (Carlos Rivera).
Then we will head to GREY’S ANATOMY for another set visit and casual interview opportunities with cast member of 5 seasons, Jessica Capshaw (Dr. Arizona Robbins), and she will be our guide on a tour of one of the sets, pointing out where some of the show’s most well-known scenes took place. We will also have the opportunity to chat with select cast, which will depend on shooting schedules, and Sarah Drew (Dr. April Kepner) who is definitely planning to attend!
We will then head over to Walt Disney Animation Studios where will will have cocktails and mingle with the “Moms of ABC” on the terrace of the Walt Disney Animation Studios building. Mix, mingle, take pictures & ask questions with actresses who are real-life moms or maybe just play one on TV. The list looks like this –
- Wendi McLendon-Covey of THE GOLDBERGS (@wendimcclendonco)
- Amanda Fuller of LAST MAN STANDING (@amandafuller27)
- Ming-Na Wen of MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. (@MingNa)
- Patricia Heaton of THE MIDDLE (@PatriciaHeaton)

- Jami Gertz of THE NEIGHBORS

Oh, wait there’s MORE! We then will head to do the TROPHY WIFE screening of “The Wedding,” Parts 1 & 2 followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A with Executive Producers Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern.
Then we will have the RESURRECTION screening of the 2nd episode, “Unearth” followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A with Executive Producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas.
Whew!
March 13 –
Off to Warner Bros. Studios Ranch bright and early for the screening of THE MIDDLE and a set visit with Q&A. We will enjoy a preview screening of the March 26 episode, “The Walk,” in which Frankie & Mike discover that they are more fun & charming with other people than with each other, Sue ends up with multiple dates to the prom, and Brick asks Axl to help him prepare an “outside the box” book report. Then we will participate in a 10-15 minute Q&A with Executive Producers and Show Creators Eileen Heisler & DeAnn Heline. We then will take pictures on the set and do a meet & greet briefly with available cast members, such as (subject to change)…Charlie McDermott (Axl), Eden Sher (Sue), and Atticus Shaffer (Brick)
I am sure by looking at all of this (if you made it this far into my post) you know that this trip is just freaking amazing. However, I am so very excited to go to SHARK TANK for the “Junior” episode screening and Q&A with Executive Producer Clay Newbill. And finally lunch catered by successful SHARK TANK entrepreneurs (partnered with “Shark” Barbara Corcoran) Cousins Maine Lobster truck.
So that’s it…well almost all of it, for there are always fun and exciting surprises on these press trips.
OK, so now I need help! Any questions you can think of to ask any of the above mentioned for the interviews, leave them in the comments and I will do my best to get them answered!

Hi Karen,
