I have a really great job. Not only do I get to have this fun blog that gives me great opportunities, but I also work for Global Resort Homes located in the number on family destination in the world, Walt Disney World. Having this job brings me many perks. One of them is the fact I get to go to the Disney Theme Parks often. One of my favorite things to do is be able to say, “Where in the World Shall I Eat Today? “, for EPCOT offers a world of dining options and recently I was treated by Disney, and asked to have lunch in France. My response? “Oui, s’il vous plaît”, translation, Yes, please!
I started my meal with the incredible Bisque de homard – Lobster bisque. One of the other people in my party had the Soupe A l oignon Gratinee – The classic French onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese. They both were incredible.
I then decided to keep with the french cuisine and have the Quiche Lorraine – The famous ham and cheese quiche. It was cooked to perfection, crispy crust with a fluffy middle. So good!
The others had the Gratin De Macaroni. The quiche was really good, but the mac n’ cheese was to die for…mmmm!
And then of course we had to try the dessert. I HAD to have the crème brûlée
One friend had the chocolate mousse.
The other friend tried the Profiteroles au chocolat , which was a yummy pastry puff with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
Besides the delicious food that Chef de France offers, one of the fun aspects of eating in the restaurant is that several times a day Remy, of the Disney film Ratatouille makes his round at the table. This will probably one of the only times you will be excited to see a rat in a restaurant.
Of course, the whole ambiance of France is simply magnifique. There are many quaint shops featuring everything French, and a touch of Disney magic.
Even with the afternoon rain rolling in, the scenery is so pretty.
I realize having lunch in France is quite the treat, but it’s one of those things that makes living and working so close to Disney extra special.
*Disney invited treated me to lunch at Chef de France so I could share the experience with my readers. All opinions are my own.

I am a Creme Brulee girl too. Might have had to have lunch at a different country (possibly Japan but it has been years since i was there last so can’t be sure) and then stop by France for dessert.
I love quiche! All of your pictures are making my mouth water, though!
That food looks delicious. Last year when we went to Epcot, I ate in Mexico and have been really wanting to go back. I didn’t bring my Nikon camera and I want to go back to take pictures.
You got to see Remy! We love him 🙂

We always eat our way through EPCOT! Love it!
