I have visited Vegas too many times to count. Almost every time I have visited I have stayed right on the strip. As a matter of fact it seems I’ve stayed in 7 different casino hotels and one off the strip. With the all the choices in Vegas, and doing a long family road trip, we wanted to give something different a try. Lucky for us we worked with Airbnb and the option we picked was the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, and it was perfect for us.

When planning a road trip, trying to figure out the best place to stay to suit your needs based on what you are doing and where you are heading next can be a challenge. Finding a nice place to stay that has a little more room for a family and won’t break the bank wasn’t so hard to do when using Airbnb.
The Trump International Hotel™ Las Vegas is a sophisticated, non-gaming, luxury hotel situated high above The Strip, steps away from the best of Las Vegas, Nevada’s shopping, yet removed enough to be considered a family-friendly hotel.
Trump International Hotel is not your typical Las Vegas place to stay. Most of the hotels you walk into are busy and loud. It’s usually a party atmosphere and it seems the smell of smoke lingers in the air of most casinos that you walk through. When we arrived at Trump International Hotel I was pleased to walk into a lobby that was so grand yet quiet. Knowing that we’d be staying off strip it was wonderful to know that if we didn’t want to drive anywhere, we didn’t have to. The hotel provides a free shuttle service that takes you to and from the center of the strip, which is only about a 5 minute ride.
I think for our family, the best part of staying in one room at Trump International Hotel was the space. Considering we traveled with 2 teenage girls and let’s face it, space is precious. Our room was huge. With two queen beds, a mini kitchen space and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.
The benefit with working with Airbnb, I was able to connect with the owner of the room where we stayed on the 46th floor. Charles made sure that I had all that I needed to check in to the resort and also was accommodating by answering any of my questions in a very timely manner. As a matter of fact, we decided that from now on, when we go to Vegas, this will be our go to place.

*Airbnb provided me with a voucher to cover some of the cost of my stay in exchange for my experience using them to book my stay in Las Vegas. I loved working with them so much that I paid for another stay using their services a few days later for Breckenridge so I truly had a great experience and as always all my opinions are my own.
