I couldn’t help but love the extremely curious, animal loving fairy Fawn, played by Ginnifer Goodwin. She believes that you can’t judge a book by its cover and it’s shown how in the story. Being a bit of a rule breaker because she’s a softy for rescuing animals, she secretly helps out all types of injured animals. She one day happens upon, and quickly becomes obsessed with, the NeverBeast. Befriending the huge, mysterious yet lovable creature, she tries to convince Tink and her friends that this NeverBeast might not be such a scary addition to Pixie Hollow.
The new movie introduces the Scout Fairies, an army like group of fairies whose job is to police Pixie Hollow and will have none of this NeverBeast creature. So they set out to capture the monstrous beast before he has a chance to destroy their beautiful forest home. Fawn fights against the Scout fairies as she trusts her heart and takes a leap of faith rallying the girls to help save the NeverBeast. Even with an ending that will sure to pull at your heartstrings, this is a film that the little ones will love.
