The Perfect Game Day Spinach Dip

I was raised in West Central Florida, a part of the country that football is part of life. I didn’t grow up in a home that football was a big deal. My dad being a Cuban refugee and my mom being a first generation American of Polish descent, they didn’t grow up with the love of the sport so didn’t have a favorite family football team. By the time I got to middle school, I started to realize, football wasn’t just a sport, it was a social event. And being the social girl that I am, I quickly learned to “love” football.

Now married to a football fan, and not necessarily a strong loyal fan to a team as much as a fan to the sport, you can count on game days often in our home. Whether just us or a small gathering, from the beginning until the end of the season, I know if there’s a football game on, it will be on our TV. This means I get to play in the kitchen and make some “Game Day” snacks. I make a fantastic spinach dip that tastes really great with Red Baron pizza. It’s like dipping it in ranch dressing, but better!

I took the time to add the ingredients I needed to purchase in my Target Cartwheel account to save some money, and then went shopping. Red Baron pizzas are found in the frozen food section of Target.
