I’ve walked the red carpet at the EL Capitan Theatre a few times now. I can say, it just doesn’t get old. The paparazzi, the stars, the fans, it’s all so very exciting. Joining the Muppets this time made the carpet super fun. I mean, it’s Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo…how cool is that?
The Muppets Most Wanted Red Carpet Premiere at El Capitan Theatre
At the end of the red carpet, Constantine, Miss Piggy and Kermit were hanging out with the famous people both in the movie as well as those that are fans to chat and photo opportunities. We had our own fun on the carpet where my friends and I go to goof off a little, even with the craziness of security asking us to move it along.
Once inside the El Capitan Theatre we weren’t allowed to take photos, so I can’t share the visual, but I grabbed an image off Google so you can get an idea of what it looks like inside. If you look you will see there’s a balcony, and if you are a Muppets fan you probably already know where I am going with this. As we sat down in our seats, I mentioned to my friends that it would be so cool if Statler and Waldorf, the grumpy old men Muppets, came out and introduced the movie. And wouldn’t you know it, they did. It made the evening that much more fun!
One of the privileges of doing events like this with Disney is that we often get invited to the after party. And yes, we were there.
This is the car that was used in The Muppets Most Wanted movie and a group of my friends that are also bloggers.
It’s always fun to see the stars in an environment where they are approachable. This was definitely the most relaxed after party I’ve been too, for there were a lot of kids and most of the stars were great with taking photos. It made for a great experience for all of us. With an open bar, fantastic food stations, nail station, and even a kids activities area, everyone had a great time.

Here’s the trailer to the film, be prepared to get the songs stuck in your head. Review is soon to come!
