Ritz Carlton Spa Toronto – My Blend by Clarins

While attending TBEX I had a small window of opportunity during what they call a speed dating session to break away and treat myself to a little bit of spa time.  Can you think of any spa better than the Ritz Carlton Spa Toronto My Blend by Clarins?

I haven’t been shy about sharing that I am a bit of a spa brat. And lately, it seems I have been spoiled by visiting 2 fabulous spas in Phoenix, Spa Avania and Tocaloma Spa.

Well, this is Toronto. And I am attending a huge conference so finding a spa was the first thing I needed to do. I went to spafinder for some options. I called a few but they had nothing available. Then I remembered seeing a Ritz Carlton across the street from my hotel and figured I’d give them a try. And what do ya know, Spa My Blend by Clarins had an opening.

The spa isn’t huge, but of course, it’s gorgeous.  I had over an hour to relax before my treatment, so I took some time to unwind my mind in the steam room. Then I hopped into the hot tub to get an awaited massage to help melt away those aches. Every inch had a jet in the laydown seats of the jacuzzi.  It felt so good.

I then pour myself some hot tea and fixed a small plate of dried apricots,  cranberries, and raw almonds. I then melted into a comfy reclining bed – Adjustables by Leggett and Platt while I awaited the arrival of my masseuse.

Deep tissue did the trick. My neck is already feeling much better.

A range of water therapies including a tranquil city-view lap pool, oversized aromatherapy steam rooms, saunas and green tea–infused vitality pools. Complete your Spa experience by unwinding in our dedicated men’s and women’s relaxation lounges, or in our heavenly co-ed Urban Sanctuary sunroom.

They have an incredible food menu as well.  One if the sweet spa attendants Lyria, recommended ordering before the treatment for it to arrive right after you are done. I took her advice and decided to try the fresh guacamole.

The spa uses Clarins products exclusively.  So it was fun to use all the products from makeup remover to the skin care products.

Of course, going to the spa is a splurge. If I won the lotto, you would find me in one once a week. It’s just one of those things that relax me the most.

I’m grateful to have gotten into Spa My Blend on such short notice.
