“Yo ho, yo ho a pirate’s life for me.” Yup, it’s stuck in my head and probably now yours too. Of course, this is very suiting since I am announcing my next Disney press trip and this time, it’s for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Event. As part of this event, we will be walking the red carpet for the premiere at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. We will have a unique opportunity to visit the Disney Archives as we celebrate the home release of the animated classic, Bambi. Even Disneyland is in the mix.
Here a closer look at who we will interview, what we will see, do and all the ways to follow along.

#BambiBluray
We will start the day at the Walt Disney Animation Studios. There will be Bambi themed social media photo opportunity followed by a press conference. Joining us will be Donald “Donnie” Dunagan (young voice of “Bambi”) and Peter Behn (young voice of “Thumper”). Also joining us will be Paul Felix, Visual Development Artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios who found inspiration in Tyrus Wong’s work (an animator on Bambi). Disney Archivist Becky Cline will be moderating.
Later in the day, we will head over to the old Disney Animation Studio where we will get an Introduction of Walt Disney’s office by Disney Archivist Keven Kern. Then, a treat of all treats, we will get a tour of Walt Disney’s office. This is amazing!
We will have some time to visit one of my favorite spots on the Disney lot, and that is Legends Plaza as well as some shopping at The Disney Store.

And then after a stroll down the red carpet and seeing all the who’s who of Hollywood, we will be attending the premiere party right in the lobby of The Dolby Theatre.

#PiratesLifeEvent
I am such a lover of the history behind Disney, so returning to the Walt Disney Studios lot makes me so happy, but a private tour of the Walt Disney Archives to learn about the history of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” attraction – that makes me excited! I am looking forward to sharing all I learn!
#PiratesLifeEvent and #Disneyland
After all that, what else is there to do but go to Disneyland to ride “Pirates of the Caribbean” of course. And then we have a day to enjoy the park. I will have to make sure to visit the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales to get a look at the park’s sneak peek of the film. And of course, be sharing the amazing World of Color nighttime water spectacular.
