Lumpy Boobies

I am fibrocystic (a noncancerous condition that cause painful lumpy boobies). That means I am one of millions of women who suffer from breast pain, tenderness and/or swelling. Having dealt with this for most of my life, I was curious to find out more about the new, OTC non-hormonal supplement Violet®. It delivers a type of iodine to the breasts to reduce cell buildup which is what causes the discomfort. It’s a supplement that is made specifically for women to promote breast health and alleviate menstrual-related breast discomfort.

Lumpy Boobies

I’ve learned over the years that the discomfort is menstrual-related and is thought to be caused by hormonal changes that occur during a woman’s menstrual cycle. These changes can lead to the buildup of breast tissue, resulting in breast lumps, tenderness, swelling, heaviness and aches. Due to this, I am one to have had mammograms yearly since 35. Almost each time leading to more diagnostics tests including ultrasounds and MRI’s with and without contrast. Mostly because the dense breast tissue makes it harder for radiologists to see cancer so mammograms can be less accurate in women with this condition. Luckily, everything has continued to be normal and I just have to watch my caffeine intake and take into account that diet, exercise, self screenings and mammograms are all important ways to take care of your breast health.

This is why I am interested in Violet®. I have learned that this condition affects millions of women. It’s an estimated 50 percent of all women experience this during their childbearing years and still many do not seek out treatment and view it as a normal occurrence each month that they have to accept. In some cases, the discomfort can be so severe that routine, yet important, everyday activities are disrupted. This is including intimacy and other physical, social and school activities. For me, exercise is definitely one of those things that becomes a challenge during this time.

Some of the treatments I have tried for discomfort have been prescription drugs or non-prescription pain medication, both of which can have side effects and only address the symptoms, not the underlying cause of the discomfort. What I am learning is with the introduction of Violet® iodine, the only non-hormone iodine supplement specifically designed to address menstrual-related breast discomfort can help millions of women to not suffer and can now proactively manage their breast health.

Violet iodine is completely drug-free and you can read more about the said benefits at www.VioletDaily.com.
