I shared a few days ago that I am going to Gatinburg for a Loretta Lynn event hosted by Westgate Events. Well now that the full itinerary is set, I have to share what else I will be doing.
I will be hosting the event with Westgate so I am heading out today, so I plan on sharing some of the fun things I see tomorrow as I hangout at the resort and also take in some of the sights. But here’s the way we plan on spending our time over the weekend.
Everyone will be checking into the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort and Spa on Friday, April 25th and we will be doing a property tour. With all the amenities the resort has to offer and the gorgeous grounds, I am looking forward to everyone to see all there is to do. Then that night we will be going to a VIP welcome party where we will be having dinner with a DJ, an open bar, and prize giveaways. Since I’ll be hanging out with some old friends along with some new, this will be a great time.
On Saturday, April 26th, we will enjoy breakfast at the resort’s Smokehouse Grill, then head into Gatlinburg where we will be going to Ripley’s Aquarium. I went a few years ago with my family, and it’s such a fantastic attraction that I am excited to do this with my fellow bloggers.
After a guaranteed fun lunch at Dicks Last Resort, we will shuttle back to the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort and Spa to enjoy their on property water park, Wild Bear Falls. I am looking forward to having some fun with my friends while playing in the indoor water park that even has a lazy river!
After dinner at Smokehouse Grill we will head to the Loretta Lynn concert where I am sure you will be seeing lots of photos of our fun.

Sounds like you are going to have a delightful weekend. I hope you have perfect weather! Loretta Lynn gives amazing concerts. We went to Bristol once for a race and it’s something to see.

No joke. My goal in life is to get to the Sprint Cup night race at Bristol.
Can’t say I’ve ever been excited to go to Gatlinburg. We usually just pass through on our way somewhere else. May have to make a stop next time.
