Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort
at Gainey Ranch

In the middle of the red rock desert there is an amazing place that is like an oasis. The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch is simply breathtaking.
From the moment you arrive and walk into the open air lobby, you have an amazing and picturesque view of McDowell Mountains.
With 10 pools, a golf course, 8 restaurants and bars, a wine room, spa and more. This hotel is amenity heaven.
Ah, my room! Look at this view! The room is what I would expect from Hyatt. Spacious and gorgeous.
The Regency Club overlooks the serene beauty of Regency Court Lagoon, with a private indoor-outdoor terrace, gazebo and lush gardens. Each Regency Club guestroom offers spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains, pools and beach, or Gainey Ranch Golf Course, and in addition provides exclusive access to the Regency Club lounge. A personal Concierge assists with all requests, and daily European-style breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening hors d’oeuvres are served. Regency Club Scottsdale accommodations also include daily access to Spa Avania, and complimentary Wi-Fi internet in the Club. Slumber blissfully on one King Hyatt Grand Bed™, and when you wake, throw open the balcony or patio door to enjoy the morning sun with your first cup of coffee. Additional new amenities offered in our Southwest contemporary Scottsdale hotel accommodations include custom bed frames, armchair with ottoman, oversized desk with enhanced lighting, Wi-Fi Internet access, iHome stereo with iPod® docking station, 37” flat screen TV, easy video checkout and deluxe bathroom with custom stone vanity, robes and Portico spa products.
The first day arriving to the Hyatt Scottsdale, myself and my #BloggersGo girls all went down to the main pool to hang out in our own private cabana. Ok, let me stop right there for a second and say that again. Private cabana. Now let me describe what a private cabana is like at this fantastic resort. A large private white canopied area with a fan, TV, refrigerator, couch, lounge chairs and even a privacy curtain. Then the most amazing feature ever. They have misters. Yes, lay in the heat and you get constant mist to keep you cool and comfortable.
Basking in the sun poolside with a mango mojito was pure luxury. L. O. V. E.
The grounds of the Hyatt Scottsdale are spectacular as well. With lush landscapes and cute quaintly placed chairs and love seats, you just want to take it all in and enjoy every inch of this resort.
Arriving to my room I received a bottle of wine and a plate of cheese and snacks along with a welcome letter. Very sweet.
I was spoiled and had the opportunity to try both SWB and Alto restaurant menus. They are both very good. The guacamole was so fresh and delicious. The shrimp cerviche was bursting with the flavor of fresh avocado (hmm I see a trend here) and fresh cilantro. My mouth waters as I write this post.
And my heart aches for I fell in love with the place and ache to go back. I could go on and on about this resort, as it is one of my favorite luxury places that I’ve stayed and I look forward to going back again with my family soon.
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch is on the web and I encourage you to see for yourself just how amazing this resort truly is.

Yum, the food looks delicious and the view in your first photograph is gorgeous! Looks like a fabulous hotel.
What an amazing looking hotel! Love how beautiful it is. That food looks absolutely delicious.
The views are breathtaking, so sad that we don’t get mountain views like this in Florida!
This was one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed at. I was amazed at how extremely family friendly, yet upscale it was!
It really was luxury. Can’t wait to go back.
Question for you, was your cabana the adult pool or the main pool? I ask because I was told that the adult pool cabana’s do not have misters on them. I’ll be staying their soon, and would like to rent a cabana but definitely want to make sure I get the ones with the misters.
Thanks!
Hi Larita,
It was at the main pool I am not sure about the misters at the Adult pool, however I will say they are worth having! It was heavenly. I will see if I can find out for sure for you.
