Walt Disney Studios has a busy month. It’s hard to believe it was just a few days ago I was on a plane in LA heading home from their The Jungle Book Event, and now I am heading right back for the Captian America event. Being one more day than the last trip, with a couple more set visits thrown into the mix, this trip is destined to be a bit busier. Here’s a look at what is on the schedule for the #CaptainAmericaEvent along with #ABCTVEvent and #AdventuresInBabysitting.
Saturday, April 9th
The event begins with a screening of Captain America: Civil War on Saturday night. If you have watched the trailer like me, the anticipation of this film is no joke.
Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Sunday, April 10th
Follow #CaptainAmericaEvent, #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan as we share live tweets from the Captian America press junket where we will be interviewing Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter / Agent 13), Directors Anthony & Joe Russo, Paul Bettany (Vision), Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa / Black Panther), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers / Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton / Hawkeye) and Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch). Whew! Quite the line up with the info you will be wanting to hear as soon as they share, so you must follow along!
Later that day we will head over to ABC where you can follow #ABCTVEvent and #TheFamily as we live tweet during the east coast broadcast of The Family. Have you been watching? If not, catch up now! This show is bound to have you in shock after each episode. It’s really fantastic! Live tweeting with us will be cast members Zach Gilford (“Danny”), Alison Pill (“Willa”), and Floriana Lima (Bridey) along with Executive Producer Jenna Bans.
This thriller follows the return of a politician’s young son who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier. As the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his family, suspicions emerge—is he really who he says he is?
We will then get a special sneak preview of the upcoming episode followed by a Q&A with the Cast and Show Creator Jenna Bans. I have SO many questions!
Monday, April 11
We will be starting our day on the set of ABC’s The Catch, where we will be taking a look behind the scenes with the wardrobe department with Costume Designer Peggy Schnitzer.
We will be back at ABC to screen the next episode of The Real O’Neal’s.
A fresh take on a seemingly perfect family whose lives take an unexpected turn when surprising truths are revealed. Instead of ruining their family, the honesty triggers a new, messier chapter where everyone stops pretending to be perfect and actually starts being real.
We will then get to interview Noah Galvin (Kenny) and Jay R. Ferguson (Pat), Matt Shively (Jimmy) and Mary Hollis Inboden (Jodi), and Executive Producers Casey Johnson, David Windsor & Stacy Traub.
Tuesday, April 12th
We will be at the Disney Channel where we will screen Adventures in Babysitting followed by a Q & A with Sabrina Carpenter (Jenny) & Sofia Carson (Luci).
