I will be boarding the plane in about an hour to head back to LA where I will be covering the Ghostbusters press junket. In 1984 when the first Ghostbusters came out I was just 11 years old. I remember how much I loved the movie and totally wore out the VHS tape I had for years following the release.
With Hollywood’s shift to empowering women in film, I have to say, the new Ghostbusters with a female cast has me excited. I will learn how the remake came to be by chatting with the director as well as the actresses; this junket will be a treat. Take a look at what to expect during my coverage over the next two days.
Ghostbusters Press Junket
We will begin the event with a cocktail party before we head to the screening of Ghostbusters. This should set the course for the rest of the event.
Tomorrow, July 7th, we will take some photos with the Ecto-1 before heading to the Sony Pictures lot for an exclusive tour of Ghost Corps with Ivan Reitman.
Friday we will chat with Katie Dippold, Paul Feig, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Ivan Reitman and Kristen Wiig.
