With Future-Worm! premiering this coming Monday, it’s a great time to revisit the post I did with creator Ryan Quincy. In my blog post, he shares how Future-Worm! came to be. The show is funny, safe for the whole family, and will be airing on Disney XD!

In this animated comedy adventure, an optimistic 12-year-old named Danny Douglas creates a time machine lunch box through which he meets and befriends Future Worm, a fearless worm from the future (with titanium-enforced abs). Together, the duo embarks on adventures through space and time.
What to expect in this first episode?
“Long Live Captain Cakerz” – Danny discovers that his favorite Captain Cakerz cereal is mysteriously sold out, so he and Future Worm travel back in time to find out what happened to it. *Guest starring are astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson as himself and Jonathan Frakes (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”) as Steak Starbolt.
“Healin’ Touch With Dr. D” – After Danny gets a brain freeze, Future Worm puts him on a future medical TV show where the doctor is a terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex.
“Terrible Tuber Trouble” – Danny’s attempt to make his parents dinner while also playing with his new chemistry set inadvertently leads to the creation of a potato monster.
Future-Worm! will air on Disney XD beginning August 1, at 11 AM ET/PT.
