While at Universal recently for the #FacingFearsTogether event put on by Two Traveling Moms I had the opportunity to enjoy some of the fun nightlife at CityWalk. Spread out over 30-acres, this entertainment complex is one of Orlando’s most fun destinations for a night of family fun, as well as a party complex for those looking for more. Not only havingnightclubs, restaurants, shops and cinemas, CityWalk is also hosts a variety of concerts and special events throughout the year.
I have enjoyed food and the nightlife of CityWalk prior to this event, but it was the first time I had tried Antojitos Authentic Mexican Restaurant.
Take a journey through the cantinas, street carts, and markets of Mexico City for the best food you’ve never had at Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food. Only the freshest ingredients—marinated, roasted, or grilled to perfection—are used to create the craveable Mexican street food fare that has drawn attention from the culinary elite around the globe. The incredible food, colorful décor, and authentic bar menu will make you feel like you just discovered a hidden gem that only locals know about.
With a menu full of delicious Mexican favorites, I have to say, the guacamole made table side was the best! Live music and just an all around fun atmosphere! See for yourself!
Exciting Nightlife and Entertainment at Universal CityWalk, Orlando
Universal CityWalk in Orlando, Florida isn’t just for adults anymore. For years, you’d see the crowds from the day at the parks trickle out and some would stop to eat, but mostly you would see the crowds coming in all dressed up for a fun night out. There is a great variety of nightclubs and entertainment venues for adults, yet there are things for the kids too. From singing karaoke with a professional live band at Citywalk’s Rising Star to sipping martinis at the high-class Red Coconut Club, Universal City boasts a very diverse selection of nightclubs and hotspots that are unlike anything in your hometown.
Citywalk’s Rising Star
For those of us who have always wanted to be a singing sensation, the Rising Star is the place to be! This is not your ordinary karaoke club with pre-programmed selections and silly videos playing in the background. This is a first class establishment with a professional live band complete with real backup singers that will make you look like a real superstar on stage. Grab the mic, and sing your heart out to a live audience that packs the club every night of the week. I have attended Rising Star on many occasions. Having friends that can sing, I love to go and watch them, but I really enjoy watching those that “think” they can sing. Always makes for a fun night!
Red Coconut Club
If you are looking for a cool, hip club with a 1950’s Vegas vibe, then this is the place for you. This is one of Orlando’s most popular entertainment lounges, sitting directly on top of CityWalk itself. The mixture of dimly lit vintage sofas and retro-styled booths with the bongo-shaped bar and breathtaking outdoor terrace make this one of the must-see nightclubs in all of Universal City.
Besides these two spots, here’s a list of all the other places located at Universal’s CityWalk.

We like to grab dinner and go to a movie and then maybe for a drink after on date nights. We always have a good time when we go to Universal’s CityWalk. And when we have friends in town, we take people there!
*I was invited by Universal Studios Resort Orlando on a press trip to experience Universal’s CityWalk. Dinner at Antojotios as well as a gift card was provided by Universal in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed are my own. All images are courtesy of Universal or my own.
