I have been to all kinds of Cirque shows over the years. Big shows in Vegas, smaller ones like at the theme parks, down to intimate ones in tents. No matter the size, the common theme is amazingly talented people from all over the world. The first traveling Water Circus was one I had not experienced until this past week. What a treat! Cirque Italia offers performances that will make you hold your breath, drop your jaw, and ultimately cheer.
Cirque Italia
I attended the Cirque Italia show in Ocala. It was nice to be inside the tent about 45 minutes before showtime. This allowed time to get some food. The menu was themed appropriately with hotdogs, nachos, sodas, cotton candy and funnel cakes. They also made sure to have some fun light up toys as well as circus sort of merchandise. They even offered face painting!
Send in the clowns.
The clowns were awesome. They are comedians, acrobats and truly great performers. Not what we would think of as typical clowns of the past. They talk, and they wear very little makeup. Their jokes are relevant for all ages and safe for the whole family.
A PERFORMANCE OF EUROPEAN STYLE
Cirque Italia presents “Aquatic Spectacular.” The name reflects a unique attribute under the tent, as the show features a custom designed water stage that travels from city to city. The stage holds 35,000 gallons of water that performers dazzle over while thrilling the audience with every move. With this “unique feature” under the tent makes for it’s a show of its own!
Cirque Italia brings talented artists from across the world under the big top with performances that will really have you wanting more. They bring unique aerial acts, hand balancing, contortionists, and many more surprise performances that are breathtaking. They have created a show that is magical, modern, breathtaking, and most importantly –unforgettable!
