I have a few friends that just wow me in the kitchen. I’ve shared a few of their recipes on my blog before. Do you have people like that in your life, that make things that are so good, and so easy that you say to yourself, why didn’t I think of that?
I was hanging out with my friend Michele one night and she was making us a very yummy dinner and she said, get your camera and take some pictures for I am about to make the BEST chopped Caesar Salad. And so I did what any blogger would do, I got my phone ready.
Chopped Caesar Salad
OK, so it’s not some big secret that making a salad is easy. But the secret isn’t really in the ingredients as much as it is to what she did to the salad.
Ingredients
- Romaine lettuce
- Croutons
- Caesar Salad Dressing
- Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix it all together so everything is covered in dressing. Then with a metal spatula, chop everything up. Serve immediately.
Seriously, I mean the specific ingredients she used you can see in the photo, but I did this with a take out Caesar salad from Outback and it was really good too. Chopping it up gives it great flavor, but also makes it super easy to eat. Try it once and you will love it. Make it for friends and family and trust me, they will think you are a food genius!
Once you give this a try I really hope you come back and tell me what you think!

I always chop my Caesar salad, but I do it before adding the lettuce in. I use romaine hearts and I use a long sharp knife. I cut into it many times in one direction and then cross ways so they end up in small pieces. Much easier to eat!
I love it all chopped up too! And once I saw those Texas Toast Croutons….well, you had me! 😉
That looks so good! I love my salads extremely chopped.
This is my kind of recipe! I hate it how every single time I go to look up a salad recipe it has homemade dressing – who has time for that!
