When I got an email to see if I would be interested in reviewing the CAKE BOSS™ Cake Mixes & Frostings, I immediately sent an email back asking if Madi, my 13 year old daughter, could do the review for she is a huge Cake Boss fan and loves to bake. They agreed and so here is her video and photos.

We have several of the Cake Boss pans but I haven’t tried the cake mix yet.

I have yet to see any Cake Boss items at my local stores but will keep a better eye out for them. The Va Va Velvet sounds delicious paired with cream cheese. Yum!
It looks like my daughter’s school will be going to the state football championship if they win this weekend. I think that would be a great reason to celebrate!

I would bake a cake for Christmas or New Year’s. We always have family gatherings and we love to eat. lol
l would bring them to my mom’s house and make them there for the family at Christmas!
I would bring them to work. I work at a school and we are always having holiday potlucks. Also my daughter’s birthday is in Dec. They would make a nice addition to her birthday dinner.
I would use the cake mix for a holiday party I have in a couple of weeks that I am planning with my mother.

At this moment I am going to do my breakfast, later than having my breakfast coming over again to read additional news.
Absolutely one of the worst cakes I ever made. Duncan Hines is far better than this mix and in fact a hostess cupcake is better. Frosting was Ok, but the cake was horrible with an aftertaste that everyone hated and made people nauseous. For the money I expected something really good, but we threw it out it was so bad. I give it 1 star only, and will never buy this again.
I made a cake from scratch for my sons birthday today. Ran short on time and my husband picked up the Lotta Chocolate which was supposed to be very rich and chocolately. I am not a chocolate fan so didn’t try it. Frosting was very stiff and gritty. My husband and son said it tasted like chemicals and didn’t taste like real chocolate. I tried it and it almost tasted burnt. I threw out the entire cake-awful! Worst canned frosting and the most expensive. I won’t be buying it again.
